Week of February 2
I'm not sure things could get much busier. Just when I think things are beginning to slow down, something else comes up. Two and a half years into this job and every year is different...one of the many reasons I love this job so much.
The week following the NED Show was a busy one. A big thank you to Student Council members for helping with their yo-yo skills of cutting string to the appropriate height and selling yo-yo's with the skill of true business women! Additionally, it was a joy to watch students gain yo-yo skills throughout the week. I saw a lot of "sleeping" and "dog walking" last week.
As we leave January 2015 behind, here's what the first week of February 2015 looks like for me.
Special Note to all teachers: When possible, I'm going to hold CAASPP meetings every day I can for teachers in grades 3-8. There is a lot to learn for both the interim assessments as well as the summative assessments that will be here before we know it. I'd prefer to meet in short "chunks" of time over the course of the next few weeks...please note the dates in which we will have CAASPP meetings.
